ITIL Foundation Course

The ITIL Foundation course provides entry-level knowledge for candidates who require a basic understanding of the core concepts, chief components and key terms that are an essential part of ITIL and IT Service Management. This includes the five stages of the Service Lifecycle (Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement), the major processes and activities in each phase, and the relationships that exist between the stages of the Service Lifecycle. In addition, students will learn the benefits of implementing ITIL in any organization.

The ITIL Foundation course is best for those who need a general understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management. Some may have questions about why attending the ITIL Foundation course is important. The ITIL Foundation Certification exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions that must be answered within the 60 minute time frame. To pass the exam, candidates must correctly answer at least 26 questions (65% of the questions).
